Liberty Street Residence Hall is a six-story building conveniently located above one of our all-you-care-to-eat dining locations, Liberty St. Food Hall, and in the center of campus at the corner of Liberty and St. Philip streets. Liberty Hall has elevator access. 

Each suite features:

  • one or two bedrooms housing three to four residents
  • shared bathroom (toilet and shower) connecting the two bedrooms
  • in-room vanity with sink

Liberty Hall offers a vibrant and comfortable living experience with inviting game rooms, spacious lounge areas, quiet study rooms and a common kitchen. Residents enjoy the convenience of free washers and dryers on floors 1, 3 and 5. Liberty is fully air-conditioned, equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, and supported by a 24-hour information and security desk for resident support.

Read below for room amenities, dimensions, furniture provided and floor plans.
  • Amenities and Dimensions

    • Exact dimensions may vary with each suite, but most are 10’-6" L x 11’-6” W.
    • Double-occupancy rooms have semi-lofted beds; each bed has a wooden frame measuring 36” W x 85" L with approximately 30” of vertical clearance underneath. Mattresses accept only twin extra-long sheets.
    • Triple-occupancy rooms have one bunk bed and one lofted bed. The headboard/footboard act as ladders for the bed. Each lofted bed is equipped with a guard rail for safety. Mattresses accept only twin extra-long sheets.
    • Wardrobe: 36" W x 24" D x 60" H. Wardrobes are equipped with a hasp that allows students to lock the wardrobes with their own padlock. Wardrobes are on casters so you can easily move them, but they cannot be stacked for safety reasons. 
    • Desk: 24" W x 24" D x 30" H. All desks have a retractable keyboard and mouse surface with rear storage.

    • Chest of drawers: 36" W x 24" D x 30" H. Chest of drawers are on casters so you can easily move them, but they cannot be stacked for safety reasons.
    • MicroFridge
    • The suite bathroom is an enclosed room with a toilet and shower, which is located between the adjoining rooms. Showers come with a liner that measures 72" W x 78". Vanities with a sink are located in each bedroom.
