School of the Arts

The School of the Arts is the artistic center of Charleston. With six different departments, our faculty consist of professional artists, musicians and arts administrators. Our students are a source of artistic inspiration for the rest of the campus and the Charleston community. Take part in internships, research, performances, exhibitions and partnerships with leading organizations. 

School of Business

The School of Business teaches everything from economics to management and marketing. Our programs help students develop the skills they’ll need to enter the workforce right after graduation – whether they choose to remain in the area or move on to other markets around the globe.

School of Education

The School of Education is home to the Department of Teacher Education where we prepare undergraduate and graduate students to be leaders in education. Whether you're looking to teach in a traditional classroom setting or engage with education in a new way, you'll learn all the skills you need.

School of Health Sciences

The School of Health Sciences is home to the Department of Health and Human Performance. If you want to help people be at their best, whether that's through exercise, wellness or by influencing policy, explore the School of Health Sciences.

School of Humanities and Social Sciences

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is the largest of the College’s schools. It includes foundational academic programs that will teach you skills to succeed in the workforce. Here, you'll learn how to write, research, communicate and hone your critical thinking skills.

School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs

The School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs is home to the most comprehensive undergraduate foreign language program in the Southeast. The school offers programs in foreign languages and the classics as well as interdisciplinary courses in culture, society and international studies. Study a language or culture and be prepared to work in today's global workforce.

School of Engineering, Computing, and Mathematics

The School of Engineering, Computing, and Mathematics is a thriving hub of innovation. In addition to on-campus research and technology labs, you'll have access to advanced resources and industry-relevant programs and mentorship.

School of Natural and Environmental Sciences

The School of Natural and Environmental Sciences fuels your passion for scientific discovery with advanced laboratories, dedicated faculty, and extensive field research opportunities:

Honors College

In the Honors College, motivated students from across the nation and around the world live, learn and grow together while pursuing their unique interests and goals. The Honors College curriculum challenges you to view the world from multiple perspectives. Your experiences will range from small, seminar-style courses to study-abroad opportunities, internships, research and service projects at home and around the globe.

Graduate School

The intimate scale of the Graduate School programs and the support of the professors emphasize personal attention and foster a unique camaraderie between faculty and graduate students. In addition, Charleston is a next-generation city and offers a unique setting to conduct research. Diverse ecosystems, a wealth of historic data, an entrepreneurial business community and a thriving arts scene provide a living laboratory for many of our graduate programs.
