Our mission is to help our military-connected students achieve academic and professional success. We encourage you to reach out with any questions you may have throughout the application and enrollment process.

Our goal is to provide a one stop shop for our 200+ student-veterans. The whole point is to connect them with each other and other people on campus.

Getting Started

Most military and veteran students apply to the College of Charleston as transfer students. If you were previously enrolled at the College of Charleston, you are considered a readmit student and will choose the readmit application. If you are interested our Adult Degree Completion program, you will use the Bachelor of Professional Studies (B.P.S.) application.

We are here to answer your questions and to assist you!

Military Credit

The College recognizes your service by accepting transfer credit hours from the Joint Services Transcript (JST) and Community College of the Air Force.

Eligible students may apply up to 30 transfer credit hours from the JST toward the maximum credit allowed from a two-year institution.

Students who have completed one year of military service in the United States military will be awarded four hours of elective transfer credit for the physical education activity course.

You can find details about eligibility and transfer credits here. Please remember we are here to help you navigate this process and hope you will connect with us.
