Your guide to readmission at the College of Charleston
If you were previously enrolled at the College of Charleston as a degree-seeking student (first-year or transfer), you can apply for readmission using the College of Charleston application and choosing the undergraduate readmit application.

Readmission Requirements
- Readmit students should meet the transfer GPA recommendation (2.4 or greater).
- If you left the College with less than a 2.0 GPA and you are conditionally readmitted, you will be required to complete the STEP Program, a one-day workshop that will help you succeed upon your return.
- If you previously attended the College as a provisional student but did not meet the program conditions, you are required to complete 30 credit hours at another institution before applying for readmission.
