Renee Buyck (Romberger) Hennick is retired from Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, having served in numerous hospital administration roles for over 30 years. She is a 1981 Cum Laude graduate of the College of Charleston with a BA in Fine Arts and was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Phi Kappa Phi honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society, and a student-athlete (cheerleader). Mrs. Romberger holds a Master in Health Sciences degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and she is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Riley Fellow from the Diversity Leaderships Institute, a graduate of Leadership South Carolina and a recipient of the Order of the Palmetto. Mrs. Romberger is a past member of the College of Charleston Foundation Board and Alumni Association Board and a previous president of the Alumni Upstate Chapter. Her additional professional and community board service includes the American Hospital Association for Community Health Improvement, Welvista, the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina, United Way of the Piedmont, the Spartanburg Area Conservancy and Access Health Spartanburg.
Mrs. Romberger now resides in Dataw Island, (Beaufort) S.C. She is married to Kevin Hennick and has three step-children and six grandchildren.
