R. McLaurin Burch III (Laurin) is a seasoned finance executive with a strong foundation in accounting and business strategy. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the College of Charleston in 2000, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Augusta State University.
Laurin is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and began his career in public accounting, where he specialized in tax advisory and business valuation services. Currently he is the Vice President of Finance at Sumter Utilities, Inc., a Quanta Services company. Sumter Utilities is a leading provider of electrical construction services and comprehensive electrical systems integration.
Laurin resides in Camden, South Carolina, with his wife Jenn (College of Charleston Class of 2000) and their three daughters.
