Orientation Housing

Get the full campus experience during orientation.

Campus Housing is thrilled to offer overnight experiences for students attending a June or July summer orientation session. Students who choose to stay on campus during their orientation session will stay in Liberty St. Residence Hall. Each suite has two bedrooms, with two students to a room, and a shared bathroom.

How to Register

Registration for orientation housing will open April 15, 2025.

You may register for orientation housing once your orientation session has been confirmed by New Student Programs, which can take up to five business days. Orientation-housing registration for each session will close one week before the session start date.

Please follow these instructions to register:

  • Log into MyPortal using your College of Charleston credentials.
  • Click the MyHousing/Dining portal tile.
  • Click the Orientation Housing button.
  • The next steps will take place in our summer housing portal. Click the Housing Orientation image again to continue registration. Your scheduled orientation session will preload for you.
