Transfer Students

Housing Availability for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

Because of increased interest in campus housing from both first-year and returning College of Charleston students, we are unable to provide campus housing for transfer students at this time. You may add your name to our housing wait list 12 hours after making your enrollment deposit. It is highly unlikely that transfer-student housing will become available.

To add your name to the wait list:

• Log into MyPortal and click the MyHousing/Dining portal tile.
• Click the Apply for Housing or Meal Plan button.
• Click Apply next to the 2024-2025 Housing Application.
• Click the Waitlist button and follow any prompts.

Off-Campus Housing

We’ve provided an overview of some of the larger housing providers in our area to help you consider your options off campus. These are all located within approximately two miles of campus. These are not affiliated with the College of Charleston in any way, and we cannot and do not endorse or recommend any specific provider.
