Transfer Students

Housing Availability for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

We’re excited to welcome new students to the College of Charleston and appreciate your interest in on-campus housing. Due to strong demand from both first-year and returning students, the housing application is not yet open for transfer students. We anticipate opening the housing application for transfer students April 1. While private (single) rooms are unlikely to be offered, our team is committed to helping as many students as possible to find welcoming residential communities. 

Off-Campus Housing

We’ve provided an overview of some of the larger housing providers in our area to help you consider your options off campus. These are all located within approximately two miles of campus. These are not affiliated with the College of Charleston in any way, and we cannot and do not endorse or recommend any specific provider.
