Transfer Students

Housing Availability for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

Because of current interest in campus housing from both first-year and returning College of Charleston students, transfer students who want to live on campus must place their name on a wait list. Students can do this 12 hours after making their enrollment deposit. Campus Housing staff will review the wait list at the end of each month and will email students with more information at that time.

We do not have any private rooms remaining. Please look for housing off campus if a private room is important to you. 

To add your name to the wait list:

• Log into MyPortal and click the MyHousing/Dining portal tile.
• Click the Apply for Housing or Meal Plan button.
• Click Apply next to the 2025-2026 Housing Application.
• Click the Waitlist button and follow any prompts.

These are not affiliated with the College of Charleston in any way, and we cannot and do not endorse or recommend any specific provider.
