Anne Marie Underwood
"As a history major, I completed internships in 3 fields: sustainability, agriculture, & law. No matter the discipline, reading comprehension, written communication, & the ability to do research were vital to my success. Studying history helped me develop those key skills."
Reese Dickerhoff
"I interned for Congresswoman Nancy Mace. I worked with constituents, took the Representative to events, & assisted her staff. I also connected Ms. Mace with businesses focused on historical restoration & historical organizations. My history major certainly came in handy for that!"
Marian Williams
"The Charleston Society is the oldest cultural institution in the South & houses many rare & prized documents relating to colonial American history. Through my internship, I learned about & gained a lot of experience in fundraising, from using development software to patron stewardship."
