  • Adelante! (Crossing the Cistern)

    Adelante! is a one-year scholarship/momentum program designed to help improve academic standing as well as support, challenge and celebrate students along the path to graduation.

    The primary goals of Adelante! are the inclusion, retention and well-being of all students. The program features academic advising, professional mentoring, scholarship support, extracurricular programming and interactive peer communities to support students as they navigate the academic experience.

    Adelante! offers $500 of scholarship support for successful completion. We want to help you Cross the Cistern!

  • Public Service Internship Award

    The Public Service Internship Award supports student interest and participation in public service, especially Foreign Service and/or globally focused civil service internships. The awards will be given to students who secure experiential learning opportunities during summer or semester abroad programs.

  • American University in Cairo, Egypt Study Abroad Award

    Founded in 1919, AUC is a leading English language, American-accredited institution of higher education and a center of intellectual, social and cultural life of the Arab world.

    A select number of competitive awards will be available for the exchange program with the American University in Cairo.

  • Graeser Memorial Award

    The Graeser Award is given in honor of the late Professor Clarence Augustus Graeser, an alumnus of the College of Charleston and the first honors graduate in the class of 1888. It is a cash award to the student in the graduating class who.

  • LCWA Study Abroad Scholarships

    The School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs has scholarship money available for study abroad. In order to qualify for scholarship funding, you must have either a declared major or minor in a program in LCWA as specified.

    LCWA and John Edwin Mroz Global Leadership Study Abroad Scholarships (multiple recipients)

    For students who major or minor in an LCWA program, you may apply for these scholarships.

    Sheffield Scholarship 

    This scholarship was created by Stephanie Sheffield and her family as part of her commitment to help the College of Charleston internationalize its curriculum. The scholarship is designed to promote travel abroad and the overseas study of business practices. Visit The Hub to learn more. 

    Wells Fargo Excellence Scholarship for Study Abroad

    David J. Cohen Endowed Scholarship for Study Abroad
