The Carter Real Estate Center serves as the heart of the academic program, providing students with real-world experiences and influential connections. We offer one of only three undergraduate real estate programs in South Carolina.

Undergraduate Programs


Real Estate degree programs of study at the College of Charleston consist of a major in commercial real estate finance, a minor in real estate, and a concentration in the business administration major.
  • Commercial Real Estate Finance Major

    Charleston offers a unique, living learning laboratory for commercial real estate with every kind of project, from large retail and manufacturing developments to small, boutique ventures featuring infill and mixed-use projects.

    Study real estate and take courses from a number of different majors including finance, historic preservation, urban studies, political science, communication, hospitality and tourism management and other disciplines.
