Evenings
Check out your options for evening parking at the College of Charleston. We have one surface lot available for non-permit holders and offer evening permits for employees and students. PG Garage is also an option and is just a block and a half from the Addlestone Library.
AD Lot
A permit is required at all times to park in all College of Charleston lots, except for AD Lot. AD Lot is available after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. Vehicles parked in AD during these hours must be removed before 8 a.m. the following morning.
- Spaces marked as reserved are ticketed 24/7, including the spaces marked Faculty/Staff Permits Only 24/7.
The following behaviors in the AD Lot will be ticketed at all times:
- Parking in VIP/Guest spaces without a valid permit
- Parking in the SSM van spaces
- Parking in handicapped-accessible spaces without a College of Charleston accessible permit Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. OR parking in handicapped-accessible spaces after 4 p.m. or on the weekend without a valid state-issued handicap placard
- Parking in any space that has a sign indicating it is reserved 24/7
- Parking in any area not designated as a valid parking space or impeding the right-of-way for other vehicles, including emergency vehicles
Accessible Evening Parking
Any vehicle displaying a state-issued handicapped parking placard may park in any accessible parking space on the College of Charleston campus from 4 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday – Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
