The latest economic forecasts happen in the Office of Economic Analysis. We analyze and interpret data and trends in the international, national, regional and local economy. The major tasks of the Office of Economic Analysis are to:

  • Provide input to the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Economic Outlook.
  • Provide commentary to the media on economic conditions.
  • Present to professional and civic groups and government agencies for public outreach.

Economic research is also conducted with the Office of Tourism Analysis.
