International Baccalaureate
The International Baccalaureate program is accepted at the College of Charleston. Students who have taken college-level courses in secondary schools and who have achieved a score of 4, 5, 6, or 7 on a higher level (HL) IB examination will be awarded credit as detailed in the chart below.
Other language exams not listed can also be reviewed for credit. Results may be similar to those listed for Spanish, French, and German.
College of Charleston awards credit for selected Standard Level (SL) IB examination scores only. Credit for SL exams are indicated in this table with an asterisk (*).
