Awards and scholarships are our way of celebrating your accomplishments and supporting your experiential opportunities. Funding differs depending on class standing, grade point average and depth of engagement in our programs.
  • The Freshman Dengate Award

Have a superior high school record? Interested in public service? Apply for the Freshman Dengate Award. It's a renewable scholarship of $1500 for up to 4 years. Deadline and application details to be announced.

  • Sophomores and Upperclassmen

These awards, determined by class standing, grade point average, and other factors, occur yearly. Those students who meet the criteria are evaluated by our faculty and recognized at our annual awards ceremony in April. Family and friends are invited to join us to celebrate your accomplishments.

  • Experiential Learning Support

Are you looking for supplemental funding for an internship? Do you want to travel abroad but don't know how you'll be able to afford it? Is there a student conference that you'd like to attend? The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) funds these types of experiential opportunities and invites you to submit an application. Deadlines and applications are available several times throughout the year. We encourage you to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
