The Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Community

Do you dream of making a difference? Are you constantly envisioning how to improve the world around you? Are you someone who thrives working with others?

Then the Honors Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Community (E-LLC) could be the perfect cohort for you!

Entrepreneurship that makes a difference

If you have a million-dollar idea, or just want to make a difference, the E-LLC can help you turn ideas into reality.

How exactly? You’ll focus on problem-solving, but with an entrepreneurial spirit. Over the course of your first year, you’ll:

  • Take HONS 205: Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
  • Collaborate with the School of Business’ Center for Entrepreneurship.
  • Network with innovative thinkers and local changemakers.
  • Participate in pitch competitions and give public presentations.
  • Learn more about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

A Community of Collaborators

It doesn’t matter your interests, background, or major. Everyone—from future doctors to upstart costume designers—has a home in the E-LLC.

That’s because the E-LLC is much more than an idea incubator. Together with your cohort, you’ll live in a special section of Joe E. Berry Hall, the Honors College's living-learning community. You’ll get personalized guidance from student mentors. And you’ll have access to specialized opportunities.

I received multiple one-on-one mentoring sessions to help me navigate my freshman year. I was connected to students who were like-minded and gave me a great group of friends that felt like a family.
