Amy Thompson McCandless Fellowship

2 awards available at $10,000 per year, non-renewable

FELLOWSHIP CRITERIA

Applicants must:

  1. Be an admitted, incoming degree-seeking graduate student at the College of Charleston.
  2. Have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  3. Enroll full-time, with at least 6 hours of graduate credit during the award terms.

DEADLINE AND NOTIFICATION

Prospective students should have completed applications by January 15 for priority consideration.

ATM Fellowship nominations will be considered on a competitive basis. Students who have been awarded the ATM Fellowship will be notified by the Graduate School.

RESTRICTIONS

  1. Continuing students are not eligible for the ATM Fellowship.
  2. Students enrolled in less than 6 hours are not eligible for the ATM Fellowship.
  3. Students enrolled in the MBA program are not eligible for the ATM Fellowship.
  4. The ATM Fellowship is not renewable.

NOTES

  1. The ATM Fellowship funding schedule is tied to the academic year, with the fall being the first award term.
  2. The maximum amount which can be awarded is $5,000 per term, or a total of $10,000.
  3. Fellowship is contingent upon the applicant earning a bachelor’s degree.
  4. A student whose GPA is not final at time of award notification must achieve the award GPA upon completion of their bachelor's degree.  Those who do not achieve the required GPA may have their award rescinded.
