Bridge to Banking Workshop
Built by bankers. Designed for students. Leveling the playing field.
Focused on one of finance’s most competitive fields, the Investment Program’s Bridge to Banking Workshop is a highly selective, student-led training program preparing students to hit the desk running as a full-time analyst or investment banking intern. Developed alongside alumni working in investment banking and private equity, the Workshop runs a multi-semester, assignment-driven curriculum covering the technical and professional skills that matter most on the desk and in interviews. Students work through the material repeatedly until it sticks, then teach it to the next cohort.
Founded in March 2025 by students and alumni working in private equity, the Workshop was built to give non-target students the same technical and networking foundation that candidates at target schools take for granted.
What the Program Offers
- Structured training on technical and private markets concepts not typically covered until capstone-level courses: valuation methodologies, M&A modeling, comparable company analysis, and deal mechanics.
- One-on-one mentorship from analysts and associates who broke in as non-target candidates and are actively working in the field, oNering real-time guidance on recruiting and the day-to-day realities of banking.
- Communication and behavioral preparation that builds the professional presence and personal narrative needed to stand out at Superday and hold your own with senior bankers on the desk.
- A centralized networking database built on relationships across the industry, with firm-specific insights and a professional network that carries students from internship recruiting through the early years of a career.
Program Structure
Associates – Freshman & Sophomores
Associates complete the core curriculum over multiple semesters, building technical proficiency and the communication skills to compete in recruiting. The program is intentionally rigorous, structured to close the gap between non-target students and the strongest candidates in the country.
Vice Presidents – Juniors
Vice Presidents have placed into internships and sharpen their skills by teaching. They lead mock interviews, build modeling exercises, and develop curriculum, reinforcing their technical foundation while preparing for their summer internships.
Directors – Seniors
Directors oversee program strategy, manage industry relationships, and keep the curriculum current. They operate with the ownership mentality expected of a first-year analyst while building the leadership skills that carry into associate roles and beyond.
