Women in the Civic Arena

The Women in the Civic Arena weekend retreat was created to provide a space for women at the executive level in local government to understand the challenges facing women in the profession, to share experiences and make connections while developing a plan to live their whole, authentic selves. 

Are you a City/County Manager or Deputy/Assistant Manager in local government who has experienced the challenges facing women in this field? Are you interested in developing strategies to succeed while also living your whole life?

The program includes:

  • Information, research and lessons learned on overcoming challenges facing women in leadership in local government.
  • A safe space for discussion and problem solving.
  • Planning and accountability for living your whole authentic life. 
  • Camraderie, joy and fun!
  • Cost: $950 per participant (excludes travel and accommodations)
