Residence Loaner Keys
Locked out of your residence hall or historic house?
If you are locked out of your on-campus housing building, floor, or room, Public Safety can help you regain access.
You may check out a loaner key to your room at Public Safety 24/7. This is a temporary key and must be returned no later than 24 hours after you check it out. Exception: If you check a key out over the weekend, you must return it no later than 10 a.m. on Monday morning.
If you do not return the loaner key, Facilities Management will re-key the room/suite, and charge your student account a $100 fee.
If you have lost a fob, you can get a temporary one from Public Safety. You will need to order your new fob through the MyHousing/Dining portal and it can be picked up, once available, from Campus Services HQ at 162 Calhoun Street. The cost is $15.
