Enrollment
The N E Miles ECDC ECDC is an academic program within the School of Education and serves as a demonstration preschool for research to advocate developmentally appropriate practices for young children. Families from the campus and community are invited to apply for enrollment to the program. Enrollment is determined on a space available basis year to year. Priority is given to siblings of currently enrolled children.
Enrollment applications may be taken as soon as a child is born, but may not be activated before then. Our waiting list is maintained for each age group in order of application date and priority. We use the waiting list to make enrollment offers, but reserve the right to structure class groups to support appropriate diversity, gender distribution, and accommodation for children with special needs. Applications are kept active until either the parents request removal from the list, or the child becomes age ineligible for admission.
