  • Study Abroad

    Study abroad in Japan, Thailand and China with our own College of Charleston faculty.

    Or, spend a semester immersed in the Asian culture with one of our exchange program academic partners including the University of Taipei, Sungkyunkwan Univesity (Seoul, South Korea) or Kansai Gaidai University (Osaka, Japan).

  • Scholarships & Awards

    Each spring, the Asian Studies Program awards the Lannie-Zlatoper Scholarship. This is a $1,500 scholarship for students studying abroad. Students are chosen based on grade point average and financial need. For more information on the award and application, please contact the director of the Asian Studies Program.

    Additional scholarships for studying abroad may be available through the School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affiars.

  • Clubs & Organizations

    • Arabic Club  Dedicated to the fostering of the Arabic language, culture and food, we are a multicultural-based organization that hosts a multitude of events such as cooking nights and other events. Everybody is welcome.
    • Asian Student Association Join an inclusive community for events and gatherings dedicated to the Asian culture.
