Studio Art for 60+ Students

Policies and Practices

• All 60+ students may register online, during the appropriate registration entry times for available seats in Studio Art classes.
• All Studio Art classes are taken for credit only. Therefore, 60+ students are expected to attend all classes, complete all in-class and out-of-class assignments and will receive a grade for all classes.
• Auditing is not permitted.
• ARTS 119 Drawing I is the pre-requisite course for ALL 2D Studio Art courses. There are no exceptions to this requirement unless a college transcript, demonstrating completion of a comparable Introduction to Drawing course, is provided.
• Approval to register for higher-level studio art courses is only granted with the submission of a college transcript demonstrating completion of comparable pre-requisite courses (including an Introduction to Drawing class).
• There is an additional course fee of $75 for all Studio Art classes.
• Studio Art courses are not repeatable for non-degree seeking students.
• 60+ students are not eligible to enroll in ARTS 430 Independent Study classes.
