The Studio Art Summer Immersion (SASI) program at the College of Charleston offers an intensive one-week summer experience for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a strong interest in studio art. Participants will engage in college-level foundation classes in studio art and work closely with college educators to create projects using various mediums, including drawing, painting, digital photography, and sculpture. By the end of the program, students will have produced portfolio-quality work and images that they can use for college applications and personal purposes. Additionally, the program aims to provide college-bound students with a dynamic summer experience in an arts-focused environment.
