About the Department
No matter your theatrical or dance interests, you'll find your niche at the College. In addition to coursework, get involved with our stellar season of productions, ranging from dance and musical theatre to drama and comedy. Our mainstage season is supplemented by the student-operated Center Stage, student-operated Dance Alliance, the Theatre for Youth Program and the summer Shakespeare Project (when scheduled).
You also will have opportunities to work with major organizations in the city, such as the international Spoleto Festival USA, Piccolo Spoleto, numerous professional and community theaters or on films from major studios shooting in and around Charleston.
