2026 Teacher Employment EXPO

The College of Charleston’s (CofC) Educator Preparation Program is delighted to host this annual event, where graduating students and alumni meet schools, districts, and organizations searching for their next great educators. Each year, the event leads to dozens of signed contracts on the spot, with many more candidates finalizing interviews and commitments in the days that follow.

We are also thrilled to continue our partnership with The Citadel’s Zucker Family School of Education and Charleston Southern University’s College of Education bringing together an even stronger pool of teacher candidates across a variety of fields, including:

  • Early Childhood
  • Elementary
  • Middle Grades
  • Secondary (English, Math, Science, & Social Studies)
  • Special Education
  • Foreign Language
  • Physical Education
  • Music (Choral & Instrumental)
  • Theater
  • Counseling
  • Literacy

Registration Information

Organization Registration 

To register for the 2026 Teacher Employment Expo please complete the Registration Form and remit payment. Payments may be made via credit card or check. To submit payment via credit card please visit the CofC Marketplace, and to pay via check please contact Jeff Pointer at pointerjl@cofc.edu.

  • Each school district will have a 6 foot table with two chairs. 
  • You may bring a maximum of 2 representatives for your district. 
  • A table covering is required. 
  • Free WiFi is available
  • A room will be available on site to conduct interviews.
  • We cannot send personal student information or contact information before or after the event.

Additional details will be provided to registrants closer to the event date.
