Congratulations to the 2026-2027 class of Public Choice Associates!

Kat Anson Oja is a rising senior from Buffalo, New York. She is majoring in Economics and hopes to build a career making economic reasoning accessible and useful to people across all fields of work. She is excited to join the Public Choice Associates program to further explore the implications of public choice theory in real-world contexts. Outside of the College, Kat enjoys working with local animal rescue efforts and spending time on Folly Beach.

Mark Harde is a senior double-majoring in Economics and Supply Chain Management. He is a member of several campus clubs. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Diver, working on (and under) aircraft carriers in San Diego and on deployment in Bahrain, before embarking on a college career.

Mia Wills is a senior Honors Finance & Economics student at the College of Charleston with international academic experience at UNSW Sydney.  She is technically proficient in Python, Excel, and financial modeling. Mia has a strong academic foundation in quantitative analysis of economics and finance. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and cooking.
