He serves on many corporate boards including Pella Corporation, Whirlpool Corporation, and The Sheridan Group. DiCamillo actively works and serves the needs of higher education. He earned bachelor of science in chemical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and now serves on the university's board of trustees. in 1975, he graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA. He is a Babson College lecturer and also serves as a trustee. As a member of the School of Business Board of Governors, he serves as chair of the Communications Committee.
