- THE JEAN W. JOHNSON STUDY ABROAD AWARD (arts majors who have completed at least one year, in good academic standing)
- THE MARION AND WAYLAND H. CATO JR. SCHOLARSHIP (arts majors with community service focus)
- CROSSING THE CISTERN (program to help improve academic standing through advising, mentorship, scholarship support)
- SOTA DEI STUDENT/FACULTY GRANT (student-faculty joint projects to advance direct outcomes in diversity/equity/inclusion)
Collegewide funding
All applications for departmental scholarships must be completed through the Cougar Scholarship Awarding System (CSAS). While we've listed some scholarships above, you can find a complete list of all scholarships on the CSAS website.
