To participate in the program, you must be a enrolled as a full-time student at Charleston Southern University, the College of Charleston or Medical University of South Carolina.

As part of our program, you will be given opportunities to develop leadership skills, become a dynamic follower and be an effective manager. This is done to ensure we commission second lieutenants into the Air Force who have demonstrated sound leadership characteristics and met Air Force ROTC and degree requirements.

Air Force ROTC Scholarships


The Air Force provides full tuition scholarships for qualified students in their junior and senior years.

Scholarship recipients are limited to students with superior academic records who have been previously accepted for enrollment in the Air Force ROTC programs at Charleston Southern University.

Textbook fees, a $300-$400 stipend per month and other reasonable fees are also paid.
