ROTC

As a College of Charleston student, you may choose to take ROTC as an elective curriculum along with the  college classes required for your major.

ROTC can help prepare you for success in any competitive environment by teaching transferable skills and leadership training. ROTC cadets will have a traditional college experience, but upon graduating will be prepared for a career in our armed forces.

College of Charleston cadets may participate in either Army ROTC (Palmetto Battalion) or Air Force ROTC (AFROTC Detachment 772).
