Give to the Department
Perhaps you remember a philosophy class that challenged you to think in a new way. Or maybe you’re grateful for a professor who took the time to help you through a personal problem. Or maybe you just have fond memories of hanging out on the Cistern.
Whatever brought you here, I hope you’ll consider donating to help the College and/or the philosophy department. There are a variety of ways to help us in the department.
Department of Philosophy's Foundation Account
This is the simplest and most flexible way to support the department. This money is used to assist the department in a variety of ways, from supporting visiting speakers to helping our students travel to conferences.
Tomo Cook Scholarship
Tomo Cook died while still a student at the College. To honor his memory, his family created a scholarship to support a philosophy student at the College. This scholarship supports one deserving Philosophy major each year.
If there are specific initiatives you’d like to support, please contact the department chair.
