Orientation Schedule
All new students must participate in an orientation to be advised and registered for classes before the semester begins.
Students and families will receive detailed schedules with event locations at check-in.

- The freshman orientation is a two-day program. Schedule details for first year students and their families will be posted in early June. The first day of orientation starts with check-in between 7:30 and 8:15 am and ends around 6 pm. The second day of orientation ends between 2:00 and 3:00 pm.
- The on campus CofC part of the Charleston Bridge orientation is a one-day program. The program runs from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The orientation registration link for this event will be sent to the student's CofC email.
- Transfer student orientation is a one-day program.
One Day Transfer Orientation Schedule
The student transfer orientation program runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Check in at Cougar Mall (165 Calhoun Street) between 7:30 and 8:15 a.m. There will be signs on campus throughout the morning to direct you to the check-in location.

- Academic Advising and Course Registration
- Learn about the College's general academic and specific major requirements.

The transfer family orientation program runs from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
