Public Service Assistantship Program

Empower Your Organization, Strengthen Your Community.

An initiative from the College of Charleston's Master of Public Administration Program, the Public Service Assistantship Program (PSAP) delivers top-tier clinics in support of nonprofit and municipal organizations.

With PSAP, we're dedicated to empowering organizations with innovative strategies and solutions to amplify their effectiveness and overall impact. The best part? Our services come at little-to-no cost to our valued partners.

Led by a seasoned Assistant Director and supported by a talented team of M.P.A. Graduate Assistants, PSAP serves as more than just a resource hub – it's an applied learning incubator. Here, M.P.A. students dedicated to making a difference in the nonprofit and municipal sectors gain hands-on experience while making meaningful contributions to our community.

Our diverse team is equipped to provide a wide range of services, including:

  • Conducting both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Expert data collection and analysis
  • Collaborative program design, development consulting, and evaluation
  • Strategic planning and targeted marketing solutions
  • Identifying and securing grant opportunities
  • Crafting comprehensive budgeting and financial management plans
  • Offering specialized training sessions for boards and volunteers

Join us as we work together to build a stronger, more vibrant community. Let PSAP be your partner in progress, guiding you towards sustainable success and impactful change.
