Deronda Washington serves as Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life where she oversees all Councils, supports student leadership, community development, and risk management initiatives. With a passion for higher education and student success, she is committed to creating meaningful experiences that empower students to lead with purpose, scholarship, and service.

 

Virginia Felton
Assistant Director of Leadership Programs & Fraternity and Sorority Life

Virginia Felton, M.Ed. is the Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life, where she serves as the advisor for the Interfraternity Council (IFC) and supports leadership development for the FSL community. She started at the College of Charleston in 2024. 
Originally from North Carolina, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Methodist University and her Master of Education in Higher Education Student Affairs from Western Carolina University. 
 
Virginia is passionate about fostering a values-driven, engaging fraternity and sorority experience that supports student growth and leadership. She is also a member of Alpha Delta Pi.

I serve as the Assistant Director for Fraternity & Sorority Life at the College of Charleston, where I advise the Panhellenic Council (PHA) along with Order of Omega. I am a proud member of Chi Omega, I am passionate about student engagement, leadership development, and creating meaningful experiences that help students feel connected and supported throughout their college journey. I earned my B.S. from Winthrop University and my M.A. from Louisiana State University.
