English-Teacher Education (EDEN)

In the joint English and teacher education program (EDEN), you’ll earn your certification to teach secondary-level English Language Arts by completing a major in English and a Secondary Education Cognate. You will:
- cultivate skills in reading, analytical, research, and communication
- study and practice the science and art of teaching
- develop an expertise in literary and film studies and writing and literacy studies
- develop crucial knowledge, skills, and dispositions that lead to nurturing your own students
