Transforming Public History from Charleston to the Atlantic World
In partnership with various local, national, and international cultural heritage organizations, academic institutions, and historic sites, the Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture, the Carolina Lowcountry and the Atlantic World Program (CLAW), the Addlestone Library, and the Race and Social Justice Initiative are proud to release the schedule for the 2017 Transforming Public History From Charleston to the Atlantic World conference to be held at the College of Charleston June 14–17, 2017.
This international conference will host nearly 200 public history professionals, scholars, educators, librarians, archivists, and artists in workshops, roundtables, panels, and individual papers. Presenters are encouraged to take note of the date and time of their respective panels and plan their travel and lodging accordingly.
