W.N. Looper Award


Summer 2024 Internship Opportunity

The W.N. Looper Award was established to provide financial support for College of Charleston undergraduate students majoring within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences to complete a summer internship with the United States Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. A total of $4,000 will be awarded to one student. The award may be used to support the student's living expenses during their time in Washington, D.C. The recipient will be selected based on the established criteria and responses to the essay questions describing the impact this opportunity would have in reaching their educational and career goals.
