Barnet Courtyard

The Barnet Courtyard is named for Bill and Valerie Barnet, strong supporters of the arts and the College of Charleston. It is located beside the Sottile Theatre and can be accessed from both St. Philip and George Streets.

Barnet Courtyard

The Barnet includes a performance area, sculpture garden, benches and a large lawn. The courtyard was designed as a venue for small events and performances, like strings or jazz concerts, as well as a place for faculty to hold classes outside.

Renting the Barnet Courtyard

You can request to rent the courtyard by completing our Rental Request Form. Form submission does not confirm a reservation - it only initiates an application and an inquiry about available dates. It is not a contract. We will respond to your request as soon as possible.
