The Lowcountry's Front Seat to American Politics
The Bully Pulpit Series encourages political participation throughout the campus community by providing a platform for dialogue with our state’s and nation’s leaders. Through town hall events with political candidates, the Bully Pulpit Series reinforces the message that citizen interest and involvement are essential components of a healthy democracy. The program is co-managed by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Department of Communication and the Department of Political Science.
Charleston Mayoral Forum
In 2023, student volunteers made the Mayoral Forum at College of Charleston's Sottile Theater possible. Through fast-paced work in an energizing environment, Bully Pulpit student team members gain valuable experience and insights into the world of politics and communication.
