Drew Newton

Drew has extensive experience in both K-12 and higher education, and he is excited to work with you to map out your path to graduation. A native of Farmville, Virginia, Drew completed his undergraduate degree at James Madison University and his graduate degree in higher education administration from the University of South Carolina. His professional experience includes service as a middle school English teacher, director of a residential bridge partnership for transfer students, instructor for first-year and senior-capstone college courses, and founding leader of new advising initiatives and departments at the University of South Carolina and at Midlands Technical College.
