Dianne M. Culhane
As a retired global corporate executive, her career spanned 23 years with The Coca-Cola Company, working on every populated continent serving key roles on the C-suite staff, leading large-scale change initiatives, in communications, strategic planning, brand building, marketing, employee engagement, sustainability, executive coaching, organizational and leadership development.
After leaving The Coca-Cola Company Dianne focused on leading collaborative long term strategy development for non-profits, leadership, and wellbeing coaching in partnership with Wisdom Works Group, Inc. Their mission is to evolve our individual and collective consciousness and competence for thriving. They work with global companies around this strategic leadership question: How can we create the conditions to bring our best selves to work and leave work more capable, wise, and well? Thriving is not a human resource department issue; it is the central challenge and opportunity for effective leadership today. To accelerate their efforts, the team at Wisdom Works created Be Well Lead Well®, a platform of services, leadership development and assessment system built on their pioneering Framework of Thriving™, a map of six science-backed pathways for elevating wellbeing and resilience.
Some of Dianne’s career highlights include building strategic thinking capability and coaching within The Coca-Cola Company’s leadership teams; creating the initial architecture for the company’s brand, serving as a key member of the strategic planning team that built the framework reinventing the company from a singular short-term focus into an integrated, holistic sustainable growth company. She is regarded for her effectiveness in building capability to collaborate, communicate and innovate; bringing diverse perspectives together; embedding principles of sustainability and wellbeing across brands and organizations.
Dianne is a Distinguished Executive-in-Residence at the College of Charleston; she provides personal annual support across campus from serving as vice-chair of the Board the Governors for the School of Business to the Honors College through the endowed Culhane Summer Scholars Program offering international experiential learning opportunities.
She divides her life between Kiawah Island, South Carolina and Eton/Windsor England and she continues her learning journey on the golf course.
