Eric S. Cox '93

Eric is the President of Coastal Wealth Management headquartered in Mt. Pleasant SC. He has been in the securities industry since 1993 and currently holds his FINRA series 6,63,7, 65 and 24. After managing local operations for a fortune 100 financial services firm for almost 20 years, Eric decided to branch out on his own and further align his client’s needs with the opportunities offered in the independent planning community.  Since his corporate exit in 2012, Coastal Wealth Management has expanded operations into KY, NY, and Fl. In addition, Eric was the co-host of “It’s Your Business” heard on 94.3 WSC radio every Saturday for over 9 years where he interviewed successful entrepreneurs who shared their life stories and business philosophies. His core beliefs center around the concept of sound relationships, clear communication and leading a life of significance through your faith.

Eric Graduated from The College of Charleston in 1993 and currently serves on the Executive Committee for the School of Business Board of Governors as well as a Director on the College’s Foundation Board. He and his wife Lee live in Mt. Pleasant SC along with their 3 children Annabelle, Aidan, and Jacob. Eric’s outside interests include travel, boating, fishing, and coaching his kid’s sports teams.
