Research Interests
I am a neuroscientist interested in impulse control, or how the brain can suppress motivated behavior when it is inappropriate. My prior research explored how drugs of abuse, particularly opioids, disinhibited motivated behavior despite the presence of dangerous or stressful stimuli.
