Sigma Iota Rho Honor Society for International Studies
The Phi Chapter of Sigma Iota Rho at the College of Charleston exists to encourage and acknowledge academic excellence and community service in students and professionals studying international topics, global affairs, and world studies. We also aim to inspire honesty and creative problem-solving in the way we handle global issues.

Scholarships
James F. Snyder European Studies Award
Dr. James Snyder, a well-respected professor in the School of Business at the College of Charleston, organized several study abroad trips to Europe during his tenure. He created this award specifically for students who are majoring in International Studies and have a strong interest in Europe. The award is meant for students who excel academically and plan to take part in a study abroad program in Europe.
