The Honors College Curriculum
How it Works
As an Honors College student, you’ll take honors courses alongside your College of Charleston courses. You’ll typically enroll in one to two honors courses per semester. These courses are small, thought-provoking and made up entirely of Honors College students.
Honors courses are taught by faculty from different departments across campus. Why? It exposes you to a range of concepts, disciplines, and ideas. And many of your honors courses count towards the College’s general education requirements or your major.
A Personalized Approach
You won’t have to navigate the honors curriculum alone. You’ll meet one-on-one with your Honors College advisor every semester. Together, you’ll pick out the courses, opportunities, and post-grad plans that fit best with your goals and aspirations.
And with priority registration for all honors students, you’ll be well-positioned to build a class schedule based on your specific needs.
