Kate Jenkins


Adjunct Professor

Kate Jenkins is primarily a historian of the twentieth-century US. She graduated from Tulane University with a degree in History and Classics in 2004 and from the College of Charleston with an MA in History in 2009. Her research focused on desegregation and suburbanization in Charleston County in the second half of the twentieth century. She works as an acquisitions editor for The History Press, an imprint of Arcadia Publishing that publishes works of local and regional history.
