Study in a city like no other.
At the College of Charleston, graduate students don’t just study in Charleston—they become part of it. As one of the nation’s oldest and most beautiful campuses, the College is woven into the fabric of this historic yet forward-thinking city, offering an unparalleled environment for advanced study and professional growth.
Charleston’s vibrant economy and strong connections to business, technology, healthcare, and the arts provide graduate students with unmatched opportunities for research, internships, and networking.
We invite you to visit us in our historic home.
Prospective students are encouraged to visit the campus and explore the city of Charleston. A campus visit gives prospective students the opportunity to enjoy the full student experience, both inside and outside the classroom.
Self-Guided Tours
If you're visiting Charleston, we encourage to pick up a self-guided walking tour from the Office of Admissions at 65 George Street.
You'll start the tour from the iconic and historic Cistern Yard, a National Historic Site that includes three National Historic Landmarks; Randolph Hall (1820s), Towell Library (1850s), and Porter's Lodge (1850s).
Learn the history behind each of our buildings and spend a little extra time at the stops most relevant to your College of Charleston experience.
