  • Visit the Hunley - October 2026

    Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm 

    Join us for an enlightening tour of the H.L. Hunley, the first combat submarine to sink a warship, offering a unique glimpse into maritime history.

    This two-hour guided experience allows visitors to delve into the submarine's fascinating story and its pivotal role during the Civil War. With expert guides on hand, you'll discover the innovations and challenges of underwater warfare in the 19th century.

    Pre-registration is required to secure your spot, with tickets priced at $25 per person.  These tickets will be available at the Monday meetings starting in September.  

    Don't miss this opportunity to explore a remarkable piece of naval heritage and learn more about the brave crew who piloted the Hunley into history.
