About Dr. Greene


​​​​​​​Dr. Anthony D. Greene is the Director of the African American Studies program, an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and the inaugural Lucille Simmons Whipper Distinguished Professor at the College of Charleston. He specializes in race-ethnic relations and cultural and ethnic identity.
